If we do not hold stock, or are "out-of-stock" of any item we will attempt to get it for you from Canon-UK which will normally take 2-3 days.

Just Canon (Freehand Ltd) is a trading division of Freehand Limited who are authorised Canon-UK photo-imaging specialists and E-tailers. We have been associated with Canon since 1990, and we stock only Canon products and we guarantee all products are sourced directly from Canon UK and are NOT grey imports.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order.

We have four different payment options for you to chose from: Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Transfer and Cheque. We accept the following cards :- Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. We are currently only accepting on-line orders from within the U.K. If you are outside the U.K and wish to place an order, please contact us by phone or email to orders@justcanon.com.

Bank transfer and cheque payment offers you the opportunity to have your goods delivered to an address not registered to your credit card. Please note that your order will not be processed until your payment is cleared through our bank. This process may take several days depending on the off-line payment option you have chosen.

We do not normally charge for any item until it is available and ready to ship, unless it is a pre-order for new products. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit or debit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

The information on our store is derived from information provided by Canon UK. Descriptive and price errors may occur in transcription and we reserve the right not to accept any order where we have inadvertently mis-represented the goods or quoted an incorrect price.
Shipping And Handling
Subject to satisfactory payment clearance, orders received by 1.00pm on a working day will normally be despatched for delivery on the next working day (Monday to Friday).

Goods not immediately in-stock at Just Canon will be ordered from Canon-UK and normally take 3-35 working days to reach us.

For your security, our payment clearance system has a number of built-in precautions against fraudulent use of stolen or 'borrowed' cards.

You can help us clear payment quickly by:-

Having delivery to the cardholder's billing address.
Providing the landline telephone number for that address (in addition to any mobile number you may wish to provide)

If delivery is NOT to the cardholder's billing address, we will carry out additional security checks before dispatch which may delay your delivery.

There are a number of delivery methods each with their own pricing structure. As a recommendation we ship all large and high value items by overnight courier.

If we are unable to ship your item immediately, we will advise you, and if you agree we will despatch the item when it becomes available.


Delivery Schedule
Subject to satisfactory payment clearance, orders received by 1.00pm on a working day for "in-stock" items will normally be dispatched for delivery on the next working day (Monday to Friday) by Royal Mail Speciay Delivery.

If you require a lower postage charge and a 2-3 day service, you may select Recorded Delivery from the drop down shipping list.

Saturday deliveries are available for a surcharge.

PLEASE NOTE : We do NOT hold any goods at our office address and we do not have a retail facility for collection of goods.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. You will not be charged for an item until it is in stock and ready to ship.

If we cannot obtain stock, we will email you promptly to suggest an alternative. This sometimes happens when a product is notified by Canon-UK as going "end-of-life" and is shortly to be replaced with a newer model.
Tax Charges
The VAT inclusive price you will pay for any product is clearly shown on the product description page. The prices and totals are shown again on the final, secure ordering page where you are invited to complete the transaction after reviewing your purchases. Products are delivered with a VAT invoice/receipt.

Goods supplied to the Channel Islands will be VAT free.
Credit Card Security Until such time as you click the 'transfer to secure server' button on the checkout page, any ordering procedure, such as clicking buttons, checking the shopping basket etc., is processed on your own computer. We do not use cookies to track your progress through the site and have no way of knowing which pages individual visitors have viewed.

The shopping application, however, requires permission to use cookies on your machine, to keep track of your cart contents, remember names and addresses when you ask for them to be remembered and, when relevant, keep you logged on.

Cookies are not used in any way that abuses your privacy or security.

Information about you and your chosen purchase is collected only after you have transferred to the secure server and then only if and when you choose to complete the purchase by clicking the 'submit order' button. Your security is protected by secure socket layer (SSL). This means that the data you transfer is encrypted and cannot be seen by others as it is transferred to the secure server. This protocol has been approved by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a standard.

The information collected comprises only that essential to processing your order, namely details of your purchase, your name, address, telephone number (fax number if you choose to supply it) and card details. The information is stored on the secure server, password protected, viewed through SSL by our mail order administrator to collect the order information, then deleted. The contents of our site are protected by password and cannot be interfered with.

We welcome orders by post, fax, email and on-line. If you do not feel comfortable providing credit card details on-line then simply print out your order at the checkout and submit it using your preferred method.

Guarantee All products supplied are covered by the manufacturers' warranty which is normally for a period of twelve months and covers parts and labour to repair product that has became faulty due to manufacturing faults. All carriage charges incurred in connection with returning goods under Warranty will need to be covered by the Customer.

Guarantees do not cover goods which have become faulty as the result of misuse or mishandling. We honour and will continue to honour all relevant legislation in respect of goods supplied to you.

From time to time, either we or manufacturers may offer extended period guarantees on certain products at no extra cost to the customer. Where this is applicable, it will be indicated on the product web page, or on delivery of the product,

All warranties and guarantees are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights.

Privacy Policy We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998)

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will not pass your e-mail address to any other trader or third party, except where it may be helpful to you in resolving any complaint.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site, but this does not allow us to identify any individual visitor. We do not use "cookies" which would be stored on your browser.

Returns Policy Just Canon has a seven day money back guarantee (excluding carriage charges where applicable). Goods must be returned to us in their original unopened condition within seven days of purchase and we will refund your money or exchange the product. All returns for a refund must have prior approval from Just Canon which can be obtained by contacting our returns department who will provide authorised returns with a Returns Authorisation Number.

Any items returned without such authorisation may be returned to the sender at their own cost.

We regret that "special-order" items will be not normally be allowed to be returned so it is advisable to ensure that the item ordered is the required item. If we do agree to accept a "special-order" item back into stock, we will apply a 20% re-stocking charge.

Please note that we will not refund or exchange the item if the goods have been used. Goods accepted must be returned in their original packaging and neither the goods nor the packaging must be marked in any way. You must return the goods at your own cost and it is recommended that you obtain insurance and select a delivery method where you can obtain proof of delivery to Just Canon.

Warranty.
All products supplied are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, which is normally for a minimum of one year, but may be longer. The documentation sent with the product will tell you all you need to know. If you wish, you may purchase an extended warranty from us at an attractive price.

In the unlikely event that you receive incorrect or faulty goods, please contact us at the address shown at the bottom of this document or telephone 01483 200111 between the hours of 9.30 am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You will pay your telephone provider's standard charges for this call, appropriate to your location and the time of your call.

We will then advise you how we will promptly resolve your complaint. If you prefer, you may email to support@justcanon.com

If you complain to us in writing, we promise to acknowledge it promptly (always within five days), to tell you how long it will take to resolve the complaint and to keep you informed while we resolve the complaint. In most cases we would expect to resolve the complaint within five days of receiving it.

By listening carefully to our customers and responding positively, we find that complaints are rare. When we do receive them, we always check back to make sure that our solution is acceptable and, where appropriate and possible, change our operating systems to prevent repetition of the cause for complaint.

Cancellation.
You have the right to cancel the contract. In order to cancel the contract, you must return the goods within 7 days of the date that the goods are delivered, unopened and in perfect condition and pay the cost of returning the goods. In case of cancellation, we must return your payment within 30 days of the cancellation less any Credit/debit card charges and postage charges incurred.

Remittance Terms
All goods supplied will remin the property of Freehand Limited until payment is received in full. Normally, all remittances will be on a "payment with order" basis and payment shall be by debit or credit card. If you chose our "invoice with order" option, we will submit an invoice and good will only be shipped upon receipt of cleared funds, which can either be by cheque or by payment directly into our bank by BACS or CHAPS or FPS and details of our bank account will be provided upon request for customers who have chosed this option.

For approved account customers, our terms of payment are strictly 30 days nett. In the case of late payment, interest at the rate of 2.5% per month or part month thereof shall be payable on the overdue amount. Freehand Limited reserves the right to charge all expenses incurred in recovering any debt which shall include, but not limited to, debt collection charges, court fees, legal fees etc.

Statutory rights
All statements, guarantees or warranties in these terms of trading are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights.
